Of course, since I&amp;#39;m not a native Spanish speaker I might just not realize how funny it sounds in Spanish.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Garcia Marquez has a style that sounds (and probably is) pretty pretentious, so I can understand why you would just stop reading. In fact, I&amp;#39;m not a huge fan of a lot of what he&amp;#39;s written.
