Jenn, the Indigo Girls got old, like, yesterday I think. I have a couple Reliant K songs and I quite enjoy them, one is the Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah. Perhaps I should do traditionals next year in the not-so-traditional style? Will also check Hoodoo Gurus. Thanks!

These are great!! To make my Christmas Spin mix I used less traditional versions of traditional songs, so people would recognize the music, but so I could find stuff that was workout-worthy. Check out relient k (yes, reliEnt), Hoodoo Gurus (imagine sprinting to Little Drummer Boy!), and Smashing Pumpkins (props, Celeste). Merry Christmas, Rabid!

Christmastime by the Smashing Pumpkins. Or maybe it's just Billy Corgan by his onesie. Either way, that voice, those bells... it's obnoxious after the 12th time, but I love it.
And for some reason Angel of Harlem by U2 is highly Christmasy to me. Go have a listen.
