Today's Tuesday Tunes are all about you. Meaning, YOU get to share your favorite tunes. YOU get to let me know the kind of music you frequent. YOU get to show your wacky disposition through tunes. (YOU know you wanna.)
Here's how it will work, leave a comment with a tune or two. Or three or six. I will then add the tune to the post, complete with youtube link, and give you credit for it.
How's that? Do you care to play? Oh please play. Also note that I'm in desperate need to acquire new tunes for my marathon this weekend, so extra points go to those who leave tunes that motivate.

My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
Now about this My Heart Will Go On... is this anonymous person a ghost from software companies past? Were you there when I declared, with angst and disgust, how badly I hate that song? I believe we had picked up sandwiches and were lunching it at a park. And one of you, Mandee's husband, put his delicate hand on his heart, cocked the head to the side and said, "Oh but listen to the words!" I believe the year was 1998ish. If you are, note that you gave me the biggest laugh of the week. If you are not, note that you gave me the biggest laugh of the week.

oh, I like this!
Regina Spektor - Dance Anthem of the 80s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zd0RZusvJk) - the song is totally random, but it always peps me up.
Ben Folds - Zak and Sara (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAVuK5efP4Q) - those piano beats get me movin'
Dave Matthews Band - Spaceman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yr7cuhxulk)

Mine are all based on music from my running playlists....
Thanks for the links; to think that I foolishly continue to buy music ...
color me stunned! I thought I and the Mom were the only other people in the state that have a copy of the Edgar Meyer concerto. It's a keeper...
I know it's a day late, but only one day late at the moment is pretty stellar in my world.
Supermassive Black Hole, Muse
Love etc, The Pet Shop Boys (too much of anything is never enough)
The Wanderer, U2 and Johnny Cash
Route 66, Depeche Mode and John Mayer (separate versions, each desirable depending on the mood)
Do You Remember These?, The Statler Brothers. (Actually, anything Statler Brothers will serve adequately to annoy kid 1 and kid 2.)
Now that I have fully utilized my lunch break, I'll get back to work.
Oh how this post delighted me today. Not because I feel that I have any tunes to add to your repertoire but because I heard a song today that made me think of you and now here you are asking for requests.
Sarah and I brought a new music book home from the library yesterday and as we were listening to the CD, there was a song that made me stop and think:
"This should be the Rabid's family anthem."
In fact I was so excited in thinking just that that I went and found it on YouTube so that you could see for yourself. Enjoy! (Except you probably won't enjoy the first 25 seconds because it's just plain annoying--you have to wait to get to the good part.)
