In honor of the Vancouver 2010 Opening Exercises (happening this Friday--in case you've been in a cave), I wanted to do something special. So I printed up some photos and marched them into my hairdresser girl's booth.
"Gimme the Hamill!" says I.
And look what happened...

She uncovered your inner 2nd grader.
Inner KINDERGARTNER dude, NOT 2nd grader. I ain't that old just yet.
That photo is awesome. Where have you been hiding it? It looks so much like Yahoo #1 I can't believe it.
Can't wait to see your do.
So that's the day that Yahoo #1 dressed up as Dorothy for Halloween?
If you would have told me back in the fall of 1977, that my new haircut made me look like my future son--not Dorothy--I would have sobbed. For days.
Garsh you're adorable. Look at that dress! You look like Heidi.
To clarify, NOW I'm totally fine with my looking like my son or vice versa. Whatever.
You mean fine right Rabid? Tax season is starting to get to your fingers there dear one. Even at a young age you had great teeth. Gather you didn't need braces?
Those teeth are the babies. The permanents came in with a vengeance and I had a pair of buck teeth that caused the most endowed of gophers to become jealous. Braces came later. But the fact that I still had baby teeth in high school made the whole braces thing rather complicated.
Four teeth pulled by a surgeon at 17. That was joy.
My first thought; you do look like Yahoo #1 in a dress. My second; how have we not talked teeth? I still had 3 baby teeth when I got married. I'm down to two now. We opted against having the surgeon pull four at 17. I think this calls for lunch, or better yet breakfast 'cause I'm childless, next week. How's Thursday sound to you?
Fact: Yahoo #1 is so good looking he's pretty. You were a pretty girl.
At this moment I'm thinking you're a fortunate mom. Your eldest is already hot and is into witty banter, and Yahoo #2 has the absolute best faces in photos and a perfect voice. Success!
So did you really get the hair cuT!!!? :) I love me a good 80's do - you pulled it off nicely
I must see it. Yes, must.
I have been working with sporadic wireless signals and haven't been keeping up with my daily blog reading duties. Hence, I haven't been able to read yours. But it's okay, I am scrolling through and getting many a good dose.
And Megan is right, #2 does do the best faces.
