Today's Tuesday Tunes are all about the new, hip & edgy. Emphasis on new. Not the old remade to look hip & edgy. Being somewhat of a contemporary myself (hehe) - I will present my favorite Contemporary Christmas Classics.
Contemporary Classic... Is that possible?
Fairytale in New York - The Pogues feat. Kirsty MacColl
Christmas Day - Dido
Don't Need A Reindeer - Moody Blues
Christmas Day - Green Day
Christmas Time - Smashing Pumpkins
Christmas Song - The Raveonettes
Breath of Heaven - Amy Grant
Happy Xmas - John Lennon & Yoko Ono
Do They Know It's Christmas - Band Aid
I could go on forever. Maybe I'll continue next week? Thoughts? Complaints? Suggestions?

So, some of these are my all-time favorites Christmas songs: Amy Grant's "Breath of Heaven" and Dido's "Christmas Day"! I was happy to see that we do have some musical commonalities. I know you don't go for country and that is totally okay with me (as long you like Dido). :)
